On Saturday, January 16th, Krav Maga Ottawa held the first Anti-Terror Krav Maga seminar in Canada. The seminar was sold out and National Director Laurent Mougeot was featured on CBC Radio on January 15th in a segment about the new face of terrorism.
For three hours the 26 participants, gathered at Algonquin College in Ottawa, ON learned how to react in case of a terrorist attack involving rifles, handguns and explosives. The scenarios used for the seminar were inspired by the recent attacks carried out by ISIS, in particular the ones in Paris last November.

National Director and Expert level 2 Laurent Mougeot put the group through intense drills and simulations and taught a wide range of solutions to the problems of active shooters, terror attacks and hostage taking.
The seminar can be taught to civilians, military or law enforcement units accross Canada, upon request.
