Michael began at Krav Maga Ottawa by attending its 2023 summer camp. He started with no experience in self-defense, but he persevered through regular training and gradually improved his skills. Michael found a sense of belonging at KMO in the company of similar-minded students and peers.
Michael completed KMO’s Civilian Instructor Course in July 2025 with Head Instructor Laurent Mougeot (Expert 3). He looks forward to helping other students uncover their own opportunities for personal growth in his new role as an instructor.
When not training at KMO, Michael’s leisure time is filled with outdoor adventures near and far, plus a good dose of rest and relaxation.
