Level G5
Asaf Karpel is an IKMF G5 level.
Asaf is originally from Haifa, Israel. After his service in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) he went on to study software engineering and moved to Ottawa, Canada in 2007. When researching Krav Maga schools in the city, he found Krav Maga Ottawa and was able to continue his Krav Maga journey with head instructor Laurent Mougeot.
In 2019 Asaf completed the 20-day Civilian Instructor Course (CIC) and received a Krav Maga Ottawa instructor certification. He is also a certified instructor with the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF). Asaf’s principal instructors have been Laurent Mougeot (Level E3) and Sam Miloud (Level E1).
Asaf’s teaching and training interests lie primarily in civilian instruction, kids Krav Maga, and self-defense training for women.
